With over 40 years of knowledge and experience in wine we love having the opportunity  to help educate our customers on “all things about wine”. Equally helpful is when we have the opportunity to learn something from them, because that is really what our shop is about – the customer.

Next time you are in the neighborhood take a break from your shopping or your drive home and spend a few minutes in our 64°F (17.7°C)  “cellar”.

Why 64°F? Because the ideal temperature for red wine is 64°F and for white wine it is 53°F, but if we kept the shop at 53°F it would be too cold!

If you shop for wine somewhere other than the Village Wine Cellar, take note of the room temperature. Temperatures above the magic 64°F ruin wine – quickly. We are confident you will find no other shops, big or small, that are as particular as we are about keeping our wine properly chilled and out of the way of harmful sun. There is a difference!
